About Midway

I am writing to introduce myself and my restaurant to you and the neighborhood. Whether you have been to the restaurant since we opened in May 2005, or you have yet to visit, I hope that you will consider Fernando's among your dining choices.

I have attempted to offer an upscale Tex-Mex restaurant, with a few touches of Mexico City style dining, combined with the continental influence that is evident in restaurants today in the very cosmopolitan city that Mexico City has become. It remains my goal to offer exceptionally delicious food, using only the freshest and finest ingredients, while ensuring that it is served perfectly hot or cold as expected. In addition to serving good food in a comfortable and attractive environment, the food and beverages are served by a staff that is not only professional, but intelligent, attentive, and experienced. Along with great Tex-Mex, regional, and Mexico City specialties, the restaurant features weekday lunch specials, Saturday and Sunday brunch offerings, menu items for children, to-go orders for both individuals and parties, and extensive catering services. The full service bar offers exceptional margaritas and cocktails, as well as a nice selection of fine wine and ice-cold domestic and imported beer.

Many years of hard work, experience, research, and a little luck have brought me to this point, and I look forward to the opportunity to serve you. As we say in Mexico City, esta usted en su casa...make yourself at home.
